Captain John Coxon was a buccaneer born in late seventeenth-century. He gained popularity for terrorizing the Spanish Main. He was one of the most famous persons at the Brethren of the Coast. Besides, he led a loose consortium of pirates and privateers. His ship, which was the vessel of eight tons, carried eight guns as well as a crew of ninety-seven men.
