Authentic late 19th century “hour glass” of French manufacture. This classic old time keeper is constructed of maple or similar hardwood. Two decoratively-turned end discs are supported by 3 graceful wooden columns enclosing the glass within. The single glass comprising 2 bulbs is hand-blown and exhibits bubbles and striations indicative of early manufacture.
