| CO1013 - Clinometer Handle Compass (with Leather Case) | |
A reproduction of an antique Clinometer compass. The Handle two functions:
First, when the compass is level, an object can be viewed through the peep sights to determine its magnetic heading. Second, when tilting the compass on its side and viewing an object through the sights, its angle of elevation or declination can be found.
The compass can fit in a pocket, and measures 2 7/8 inches (7.3 cm) in diameter, 7/8 inch (2.2 cm) thick, and 2 1/4 inches (5.7 cm) tall with the handle up. The Handle Compass is crafted from solid brass, polished to a beautiful high luster. Also included is a Black Leather Case to safely carry the Clinometer.
